How to Send an Advertisement to a Mobile Phone

Sending advertisements via mobile phone is just one option when it comes to informing customers of your business or service. It's a method that should be used carefully, since many people have to pay to receive text or picture messages, and unwanted advertisements can cause your would-be customers to be seriously annoyed with you: not the best way to drum up business.

If you have a good reason for wanting to send advertisements via mobile phone, the best way to do this is to create a list.

• You'll need the cell phone numbers of the people you want to receive the advertisement. This might be your mailing list, your list of existing customers, or whatever other list you have devised to keep track of the people you want to know what your business is up to.
• Most mobile phones let you create “user groups” or something similar, meaning you can create a list with all of the mobile numbers on it.
• Title the list “customers” or “mailing list” or something similar, then manually enter each number and save the group.
• You're now able to send your advertisement and address it to the group, it will be sent individually to each number in the list. This will keep you from having to resend the advertisement separately to each person.

Remember that your mobile phone provider may charge you to send text or picture messages, and when you send a message to a group, you will be charged for each member of the group to receive that message.
