What Are Some Conservative Organizations in the United States?

Many conservative organizations exist in the United States. Even if you do not want to join a national group, there are organizations at the college, local, and state levels.

 

Here is a list of some of the conservative organizations that are currently active in the United States. After going through the list, we will tell you a little bit about each of these ten national conservative groups:

American Conservative Union

This group is concerned with all sorts of political issues. They work to not only advance the goals of the conservative movement, but also to educate other people about its teachings.

American Family Association

This group is one that is centered on religion. Their mission is to work on teaching citizens how to change society in order "to reflect Biblical truth," as per the group's mission statement. They work to create this type of culture as well.

Citizens United

Citizens United takes on a large purpose of bringing the government back to the people. They are very focused on bringing back the vision that the founding fathers had, and making those ideals the heart and soul of the country.

Conservative Caucus

Drawing attention to issues at the state and Congressional district level is what this group is all about. They want to make sure that conservative opinions are heard in both the state and the federal government levels. This is a national organization with local-level chapters.

Eagle Forum

Like Citizens United, Eagle Forum is dedicated to restoring the goals, ideals, and principles that the United States of American was built on. They want to ensure that people have individual liberties, family values, and other traditional components.

Family Research Council

At the core of the Family Research Council is the Judeo-Christian worldview and the notion that God is the source of life, liberty, and the family. They work to uphold traditional values concerning family and marriage as well.

Freedom's Watch

The people who belong to this organization are well known for their support of typical conservative policies in the public sphere. In addition to working at the higher levels, they also seek to educate individuals about their goals and beliefs.

Freedom Works

This group is concerned with several important issues. Their mission statement includes the fact that the organizations "fights for lower taxes, less government and more economic freedom for all Americans."

John Birch Society

The best way to sum up what this conservative organization is all about is to use their own words. Their mission is defined as thus: "Less government, More Responsibility, and-with God's help-a Better World."

Right March

Right March seeks to give people a voice in politics. They seek to motivate people to get involved in whatever way that they can, in order to ensure that conservative politics are at the forefront of society.

In the first few years of the 21st century, it seemed that there were more Democrats in the US. However, recent polls are showing that people are resorting back to more conservative movements.
