Avid cartoon fans everywhere may be able to name the Peanuts characters. There were quite a few Peanuts characters over the life of this comic strip. Many of these characters also appeared in movies and were loved by a generation of kids.
Charlie Brown’s “Peanuts Gang,” a cartoon series by Charles Schultz, had a number of different characters throughout the years.

- Another of the Peanuts characters was Charlie Brown’s dog Snoopy, who was believed to be a beagle although this was never specified.
