Plot of Under the Tuscan Sun
Under the Tuscan Sun is a movie about a recently divorced writer who is down on her luck.
- She goes on vacation to Italy, where she purchases a villa on a whim.
- She hopes that the purchase of the broken down villa will somehow change her life and bring the love she is looking for after her marriage fell apart.
- She hires a crew of odd people to help make repairs to the villa and, in the process, invites a friend to come and live with her.
- Throughout the duration of the movie, she finds love with two different people from different backgrounds. One of the people is her real estate agent and the other is a handsome stranger.
Although she eventually finds the love she is looking for, throughout the movie her constant is the sun over Tuscany. This is why the location where Under the Tuscan Sun was filmed is so important.
