Who Are Rocky and Bullwinkle's Enemies?

Rocky and Bullwinkle, two fun cartoon characters have several enemies who are their nemeses in their cartoon series.

Boris and Natasha are the scheming enemies of Rocky and Bullwinkle on the classic animated series, The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, but they don’t act alone. While Boris and Natasha – the short scheming man in the trench coat and the seductive femme fatale – are the faces we see during all of the crazy plots, the two are operating under the strict orders of the real villains, their bosses Mr. Big and Fearless Leader. These, therefore, are ultimately Rocky and Bullwinkle's enemies.

The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show first became famous in the 1960s and remains a cult classic today largely because it’s targeted at two audiences. Kids love it, and there are jokes in the show that are aimed at them, but there’s another level of comedy going on that adults can appreciate, too.

The adventures of the flying squirrel and his dim-witted moose companion are loaded with clever puns, double entendres, and other sly jokes that make the show timeless and more clever than you might expect at first glance. 

In each episode, there are two “shorts” that take place, similar to the design of early radio programs. Each of the shorts has its own story line, but the story lines span across and connects over multiple episodes. The stories are typically completely off the wall, with zany sci-fi plots speckled with the constant presence of the notorious Boris and Natasha, who are constantly foiled and are constantly coming back for more.
