What People Are Indigenous to Africa?

People have been living in Africa for an extremely long time; in fact, some scientists believe that all of humanity started in Africa.

Figuring out which individuals are indigenous to Africa requires us to break the continent down into sections. Africa is an extremely large continent, so doing so will better allow you to see where the indigenous people are from.

We have included the full continent of Africa as well as four sections of Africa, each with the names of the indigenous people from that geographic area.

Considerations

Even though all of these people are indigenous to Africa, that does not mean that they are all from the same tribe. Clearly, there is a vast array of different indigenous tribes and groups of people that hail from Africa. Each group deserves its own recognition.
